The Rosehip Oil Serum is a unique blend of three ingredients derived from the wild roses Rosa canina and Rosa rubiginosa. The freshly harvested rosehip buds are dried, deseeded and carefully cold pressed into the most delicate deep orange rosehip oil. MAIWE only uses organic certified rosehip. Their Rosehip Oil Serum contains additional CO2 seed and fruit extracts, oils obtained by an advanced extraction method to fully preserve all nutrients. The fruit extract is bursting with beta-carotene, hence the red colour of our serum. The antioxidant boosts the vitamin A level, creating glow and smoothing out wrinkles, scars, and acne.

Their treasured rosehips are harvested from wild roses that thrive in these untamed natural surroundings.
Their products are developed in-house by founder and bio-engineer Maayke Ruyffelaere according to the standards of natural skincare. They use only essential, raw ingredients such as natural oils and powders, and innovate with plant-based natural actives such as ferments, enzymes and fruit acids.
To protect the delicate balance of sensitive skin, they never use fragrances or other inflammatory ingredients. Female entrepreneurship is at the core of what moves MAIWE. The wild rosehips are handpicked by Chilean women and a fair amount of their oil is produced in small batches by a female-run company in southern Chile. They intend to coordinate the picking locally and set up an oil press with home-grown rosehip only.
Involving the Maiwe lake’s women in the complete production process creates financial security throughout the year, not only during harvest season. Part of the profit will support sustainable development projects in the area.

INGREDIENTS
Active Ingredients: Vitamin A helps speed up cell turnover, thickens the dermisfor plumper, younger looking skin and a brighter, more glowing complexion, and helps improve hyperpigmentation, acne, large pores, lines and wrinkles. Vitamin C prevents pigmentation damage and has anenergizing effect which gives skin back its radiance, its even tone and its luminosity. Vitamin E intensely moisturizing, keeps the skin plump and smooth, its antioxidants are known for protecting against pollution and other environmental stressors. Vitamin K has the ability to increase elasticity and is especially loved in skincare for reducing the appearance of dark spots and under-eye circles. Unsaturated fatty acids especially rich in linoleic acid which acts as an anti-inflammatory agent that reduces acne and retains moisture. It prevents comedones by working on the sebum’s texture, making it non-clogging.
